Hi, I am Kushaangi, the Founder of Sieva. I am a trauma-informed Psychotherapist, Sports Performance Consultant, meditation and breathwork practitioner.
My work integrates trauma-informed approaches for CPTSD and PTSD, along with Psychodynamic therapy and CBT for stress, anxiety, depression, and related concerns. I also incorporate body–mind regulation and integration practices into the therapeutic process.
I warmly welcome you. Thank you for being here.
After working across NGOs, clinical settings, and hospitals, I transitioned into virtual therapy during the pandemic. I have conducted over 7,000 hours of 1:1 therapy and couples therapy, and guided thousands through meditation and breathwork practices.
Through this work, I have learned something essential: we all suffer, and our thoughts and emotions reflect how our mind and body interpret the world around us.
I have seen men struggle silently across generations. In India, one in seven men experiences depression, with suicide being the second leading cause of death among young men aged 15–29. Stress-related lifestyle illnesses are also rising steadily among young adults.
Women often carry emotional burdens shaped by shame and suppression. The National Mental Health Survey (2015–16) reports that one in 20 Indian women faces depression, and globally women experience disproportionately high suicide rates.
The queer community continues to fight for recognition and safety. A 2021 study in Karnataka found 30–40% of gender-diverse individuals reported depression, with significantly higher suicide attempts than the general population.
These patterns tell us something important: mental health is systemic. It is also shaped by how we learn to cope with ourselves and others.
I have also witnessed the realities of the mental health system. Therapists, often overworked and under-supported, continue to hold the weight of a growing crisis. So do I.
Sieva was born from this experience. The name draws from “Seva” (to serve) and “Siva” (transformation and evolution). It represents a commitment to compassionate, culturally grounded, evidence-based care.
At Sieva, we do two things.
First, we offer culturally relevant psychotherapy and counseling. Alongside talk therapy, we integrate breathwork and somatic practices — including traditions such as pranayama — to help you reconnect with your body.
Second, we connect you with the right professionals when your needs extend beyond therapy.
Each of us must learn the conditions in which we thrive. We learn to accept what we cannot control, and cultivate patience and clarity to change what we can.
If you feel ready to begin this journey at your own pace, I look forward to hearing from you.

Professional support tailored to your unique journey.
In a secure, safe container together, your therapist holds space for you. Here you are first truly heard, understood, and met with care. We then collaboratively set gentle goals, ease stress, trauma, or emotional weight using calm talking, breathwork, and body practices, and help you reach those goals, leaving you feeling lighter and more resilient over time.
Your therapist holds a free and secure space for you both, so you are being truly heard and understood with care. We then work collaboratively to understand your patterns and shift them in ways that feel right for you, helping you design how to "fight right" and express better, so your relationship grows wholesome and fulfilling step by step.

Extending wellness beyond the therapy room.
At Sieva, our Sports Performance Consultancy helps athletes break through barriers to reach their peak potential. We start by identifying what’s holding you back—whether it’s mental blocks, performance anxiety, or a disconnect between mind and body. Our approach integrates mindfulness techniques and tailored goal-setting to foster a seamless mind-body connection.
Workplaces are emotional ecosystems. Stress, burnout, and relational pressures affect performance more than we acknowledge. My workshops integrate trauma-informed perspectives, emotional regulation practices, and relational awareness to help teams build resilience and clarity. Each workshop is thoughtfully tailored to the needs of the organization.
This is not a medical diagnosis. It is a tool to help you reflect on your current state of mind. Participation is completely optional.
